Your Online Trail and Travel Guide for Snowmobiling the U.S. & Canada

Trail Report: Rhinelander, Wisconsin – January 8, 2017

Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 6-8" powdery snow
Date of Report: January 8, 2017
Area Report:

The cold snap finally helped finish the job of freezing up the swamps to make them safe enough for the groomers to cross.  The clubs groomers have been able to make it through all of the trails now.  By doing that, the trails are now in fair shape.  They are flat in most areas.  There are a few small bumps that additional snow will take care of.

Please stay on marked trails and lake crossings.  The club has worked hard to get to this point.  A little more white gold and we will have the conditions that we are all waiting for.  Join a club, they all could use the support.

Some snow in the forecast this week!  Time to get out and enjoy the trails.
