January 6, 2020 –6:23am  18 degrees

SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Variety of ALL Conditions

1-3 inches of SNOW yesterday. Today the high is 28 with a low tonight of 19.  Sunny. Heading into a cold stretch.  Tuesday high of 23 & low of 1. Wednesday high of 12 & low of 6.  Then a pop up in temps on Thursday with a high of 35 & low of 17 & a couple of inches of SNOW.

Grooming overnight according to Groomer Tracking Systems show the following trails were groomed over the last 24 hours.  

SOUTH
10/13 from the groomer barn heading south thru town.

3/Alt 13(the grade) south to 10E intersection

Loon Lk Rd to Bloom Rd section of 10E was groomed overnight – Rest of 10E was not

NORTH
10/13 from the groomer barn heading north all the way to the Manske swamp/1 intersection.

Manske Swamp to 17N

17N from the 10/13 & 17N intersection to just beyond 1N intersection

WEST
70W to 17/7/70 intersection

17/7 south all the way to the Sugar Camp connect

Caution Area

17S from 17/7aka Paintball Field intersection to the Sugar Camp connect.  Groomed for the 1st time in last 24 hours will still be rough

Section of 10/13 from Hwy G to Adams Rd – has water & is very mushy/muddy.  Heading north recommend using Trail 17 to Manske Swamp aka 3.  Heading south toward town recommend from 13 cutting across(left) Manske Swamp aka 3.

Manske Swamp aka 3 – groomed overnight but will still have rough sections.

Wisconsin River Bridge aka 10W/13N – frozen but very icy under last snow.  No regular grooming from the eastside trail & across bride due to conditions so expect rough & potential for soft spots.  West side section of trail much on Deep Lk Rd rough

17N from 1 intersection to Columbus Rd – CLOSED to traffic. Use Trl 1
Heading south detoured to Hwy 17. Cross Hwy & take Trl 1 back to Eagle River

Catfish & Eagle Lake Trails are NOT MARKED.  Please stay off.  Sure there’s surface slush on top of the snow.
