GTS Trails app shows groomers out in the last 24 hours
Nearly the entire system groomed
Groomers were out last night grooming. Nearly the whole system was groomed. Suggest buying a Sno-Eagles trail map to help with location of trails.
70W toward St. Germain, 3N(Manske Swamp), 1S(which are spurs off of 10E) & 17S/7S toward Sugar Camp were NOT groomed.
All sorts of conditions on the trails. Found them to be on average FAIR. Best riding is south to Three Lakes on alt13 & 10W due to more grooming. Next would be 10E from 10E/1S intersection(Dollar Lake Rd area) & east improving as you get way out east. Which has a bit more SNOW on it. It’s been cold at night so the SNOW is getting hard & crunchy so sure could use some fresh SNOW.
Off trail riding continues to be a problem throughout Vilas county. What this is doing is jeopardizing trail easements & will cause trail section closures. Please once again stay on marked trails.
Catfish & Eagle Lake trails are marked with orange reflective barrels. Please stay by the barrels to be safe. The lakes are marked by the businesses on the lake so stop in & thank them when you’re out riding.
ONEIDA COUNTY trails are now OPEN. Report lakes will be marked today. Sno-Eagles trails connect with the Three Lakes trails using alt13. Sugar Camp via 17S & 7 aka Paintball field trail.
FOREST COUNTY is not yet open. Part of Three Lakes Trails are in Forest county. 10E that connects to Three Lakes Trails is in Forest county.
KEEP THINKING COLD & DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!
