Trail Report: Boulder Junction, Wisconsin – December 26, 2016

Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 4-6
Date of Report: December 26, 2016
Area Report:

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas, I just got back from visiting kids and grandkids. I wish I had better news for the trail report, but it is what it is, and that is not good. We  had about an inch of freezing rain or slush last night and it is 36 degrees right now. The trails look ok as we speak but the traffic is already beginning to pick up and they won’t last long with no snow. The groomers will not be able to do anything with what is on the ground now so if you can wait until we get more snow I think that would be your best move, that’s what I’m telling my family.  Colder temps are predicted for tomorrow, but not alot of snow in the immediate future. If you are going to ride this week, don’t expect too much as the trails will not be in very good shape. Sorry.
