Our trails remain in good condition. A couple days of warmer weather over the weekend brought us some light misty rain.  This just added strength to our base. Our base is very hard packed at this point. Snowing lightly today with an inch over night tonight. Use caution in the corners as they are icy. Temps look to be ranging from single digits to low 20s this week, like winter should be.

Cross Country Cruisers Trail Report 2-5-19 Wow a busy weekend it was! I talked with some of our local restaurants and a gas station and they told me they set sales records this past weekend! Thank you all for patronizing our local sponsors!! Mondays freezing rain was certainly something we could have all lived without but fortunately the Cruiser’s had groomed there trails Sunday night and they are hard and flat awaiting this week’s new snow!! We did receive about an inch of new snow overnight. Trail 3,5,6,10,11,17,47,51 and the Bear Skin are all good. The Bear Skin is thin on snow close to town but improves as you travel out. Trail 70/10 in town is fair to good. Some corners are icy and there are some thin areas here and there. The road routes are also thin on snow. Please ride with some extra caution! The forecast for the upcoming week looks very good with several chances for measurable snow starting today and tonight, another 3 “to 5” for Wednesday night and even more on Thursday! So the freezing rain will be just a short lived unwelcome event and I believe we are headed towards some very good riding as the week goes on!! We will touch base again Thursday! Thank you to everyone for riding safe last weekend it was great seeing all the riders enjoying the trails! Ride Right Ride Safe!!

SNO-EAGLES TRAILS OPEN!
Trails Fair to Poor

February 5 2019 5:45am – 7 – High 16

Ice storm yesterday followed by some SNOW late yesterday around dark.  SNOWING pretty hard at times but did not amount to a lot of SNOW.  Maybe an inch. Cloudy this morning with SNOW late this afternoon around dinner time.  Should SNOW off & on until early tomorrow morning. 1-3 inches forecast.  More SNOW Wednesday during the day.  Wednesday night into Thursday looks like a great chance for alot of SNOW.  Stay tuned.

As for right now trails are Fair to Poor.  The sleet before the ice storm brought the SNOW level down.  Temps are back down again. 16 for a high today with a low of 8 tonight. Forecast for high of 25 tomorrow with that being the highest temp for the rest of the week.  With the new SNOW trails will improve quickly.  For now there are all sorts of types of riding out there.  Lots & lots of icy.  Open areas are the thinnest.  Woods riding is better.

Sno-Eagles Country has 2 areas that have one-way trails.  10E is a one-way trail from the ERRA Sports Arena all the way out to Nicolet Mini Mart.  The other is the 13’s up near Buckatabon Bridge & Bauer’s Dam area.  Clearly marked with DO NOT ENTER signs.  Plus trail signs are backwards if you are going the wrong way.

EAGLE LAKE TRAIL & CATFISH LAKE TRAIL ARE MARKED & OPEN. Stay by the reflective orange barrels.

If you are riding be careful it is very icy out there.

THINK SNOW!!!

See ya on the trails!
