With Spring approaching, warmer temps and stronger sun are taking their toll on our snow base. Clubs are no longer grooming trails. Road routes and approaches are bare. There is still snow in the woods so trails in the woods and forest roads are still rideable but conditions are variable.

Water is starting to gather in fields so travel is not recommended on Trail 4 Delta to Mason and Trail 63 north of Grand View.  Gates have been closed on Trail 1 into Herbster. Trail 1 off the end of Gotchling Road heading to the casino is also gated off.

Namakagon: NTG trails are still rideable. but we are not grooming at this point. Still snow in the woods but parking lots & and roads are bare.

Barnes Barnestormers: Barnestormers have suspended grooming, there’s still snow in the woods.

Drummond SnoJacks: Forest trails remain in good condition but watch for ice on corners especially in early morning hours. Road routes and open areas are bare and grooming is suspended.

Washburn Valhallers: Trails north of Highway 2 by me are still in pretty good shape.

South Shore (Port Wing, Herbster, Cornucopia): Grooming is suspended. All plowed roads are mostly bare to bare as well as any logging areas. Trail 1 between campbell rb and bark river rd got closed last friday cutting off Herbster.

WAINO: Forest trails are in decent condition, corners are icy, road routes and fields are lacking snow. Grooming is on hold unless we get snow.
