Trail Report – : Hayward / Sawyer County, Wisconsin – February 6, 2024

Reporter:haywardlakes

Trail Conditions: No Snow

Snow Cover: 0

Date of Report: February 6, 2024

Area Report:

It is currently not possible to snowmobile in Sawyer County. Although our trails never “technically” close, we are marking ourselves closed as conditions do not allow for snowmobiling. Please stay off the local lakes, as ice thickness will vary greatly after our warmup and is not safe for motorized traffic.

Our ATV/UTV trails are currently still open!  Don’t have an ATV/UTV borrow one from a friend, rent one from an area rental business, or if you are feeling spontaneous there are area businesses that sell them.  If you choose to venture out on ATV/UTV, just make sure you follow the map and always know the legend on a map. “Read before you Ride”
