EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
GOOD to EXCELLENT
Temps rising to TIME TO RIDE
Now is the time to ride as temps coming up on Friday & Saturday. 50’s daytime on both day. Below 32 both nights. After that back to 30’s during the day & teens at night. No Evil Sun. Not much SNOW in the forecast.
Groomers caught nearly the whole system last night with the exception of Trail 10E. Trails are in great shape. Even through town!
Here are IMPORTANT TRAIL Section updates
Section of Trail 10W/13N also know as the Wisconsin River Bridge is CLOSED for the season due to water & slush – If you are north & west at the 7/70/10 intersection take 70/7 back to Eagle River.
Trail 10E ends at the Three Lakes/Brule River Club turn around as Forest County trails are CLOSED. Grooming only to the 9 Mile trail as it’s connects to Three Lakes & then back into to town.
Barrels were removed from Eagle Lake Trail Do not recommend riding if you are not an experienced rider.
Road crossings may be blocked at some road crossings due to road plowing.
Many be some wet areas in some of the swamps.

Eagle River has long held the distinction of SNOWMOBILE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD, and it’s a matter of pride that causes local clubs and businesses to work so diligently to maintain that title. Snowmobile fever becomes a way of life in our Eagle River winters, and the talk often turns to “picks”, “carbides” and performance. In fact, these snow machines seem to outnumber cars during the winter months.
Over 500 MILES OF GROOMED TRAILS connect the communities of the area, including access to major county and state routes. Trails wind throughout the area’s scenic forests, but frequently pass close to service businesses which can provide you with fuel and sustenance, shelter and refreshment. If you don’t have your own snowmobile, several dealerships will be happy to provide you with equipment during your visit.
