At this time ALL Trails in Washburn County are now officially open. With the recent snow accumulations trails are now packed and groomed and now have a sustainable trail base. Additional snow accumulations have helped the trails out tremendously and grooming reports have been coming in with positive feedback. All trails across the County are in good condition. Remember that grooming and maintenance activities continue throughout the season. Use caution while riding, watch for trail equipment, and enjoy the trails responsibly. If you encounter any trail issues such as downed trees, limbs, or debris, please report them to Washburn County Forestry at 715-635-4490.

Please be advised that ice conditions continue to vary and traveling on any lake is never 100% safe. Washburn County Forestry does not maintain anything past the high ground point. Please use caution if you are out on any lake.
