Your Online Trail and Travel Guide for Snowmobiling the U.S. & Canada

Trail Report – : Rhinelander, Wisconsin – January 6, 2022

Reporter:Hodag SnoTrails
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 6-7" of new fluff
Date of Report: January 6, 2022
Area Report:

The 6-7″ of new snow that arrived this week, allowed for a significant improvement in the trail base.  All of our trails will have been groomed and ready to go for the weekend.  The groomers are out on their daily schedule.  All lakes have been marked.

There is one trail closure on the Hodag Sno-Trails system:  Trail H4 from Boom Lake to the intersection just north of River Rd.  This is basically the “land” route to not running Boom Lake.  The club is trying to work with the landowner regarding the issue.  The trail is closed at this point.  Boom lake is now marked, so getting around this trail segment should not be an issue.  Pitstops on the land route can still be reached from the south lake entrance.

Hope everyone has a fun, and safe snowmobiling season.  Get out and ride….

Keep it between the blazers!
