The trails are still in early season riding conditions. The club members have worked extremely hard to pack the trails with sleds and groomers where applicable. There are still some low areas and swampy areas that are too wet to run a groomer through. We had one groomer break through last week. As a result, there still is approximately 50 % of Hodag Sno-trails system that we have been able to groom.
The trails are rideable, but are not flat as we normally expect with our trail system. It will take more cold weather and snow to make a significant change in the trail rating.
You can definitely go out and put on some miles, but just know going in that, conditions are early season.
Have patience, hopefully it will be a long season.
