Gromming is continuing and the trails are seeing a great deal of traffic. The artic temperatures have gone away and it looks like a great weekend to hit the trails. A cold start tommorrow morning will give way to temperatures around 20 degrees with plenty of sunshine on Saturday. We have a possibility for an inch or 2 of snow on Sunday. We need more snow as what we have is mixed with some dirt. But, whatever we get, we will take. Looks like a mild week coming up with temps in the 30’s. The Phelps snowmobile club and all of the clubs inVilas county urge you to please stay on the marked trails. Off trail riding is trespassing and really becoming an issue with landowners threatening to close the trails that cross their property. We need everyones help to keep our trails open.
