The Manitowish Waters Sno-Skeeters Snowmobile Club are waiting for the word on the Vilas County Snowmobile trails. This means 11 clubs will be weighing in.

I just spoke with Dale Mayo (Vilas County Parks and Recreation Administrator) and let hem know our opinion.

In the interest of safety and a quality snowmobiling experience, The MW Sno Skeeters are in favor of temporarily closing the trails.

We have water issues in the swamps and poor trail coverage in general.

If we see winter again and have a chance to reopen before the end of March we would be more than happy to do what it takes to Re Open.
