The Lake Gogebic area is currently sitting at 24°F, with temperatures expected to dip to 17°F this evening. Over the past 24 hours, we’ve received about 3 inches of fresh snow — our first measurable snowfall of the 2025–26 season!
Be sure to follow Gogebic Area Grooming on Facebook for the latest updates and photos showing how the team is getting everything ready for the December 1st trail opening (weather permitting).
We’re hearing great news — the swamps are starting to make ice, and the long-range forecast looks promising! With a bit more cooperation from Mother Nature, we’ll soon be out there getting the trails in shape for another fantastic season.
A big thank-you to everyone who came out for our October brushing and clearing event! Your help makes a huge difference. If you’d like to continue supporting the trails, please consider joining our club — membership information and applications are available at www.gogebicareagrooming.com
Think snow, everyone — the season’s on its way! ❄️
