Snowmobile Information:

Northern Hornshoe Lakes are marked, but not Shisheboganna due to Oneida County Trails still closed. Ice is good but off of the marked trails, the powdery snow is slippery. Fence Lake is marked, but it has two heaves that require extreme caution. The trails are marked, and there are barrels clearly marking where they cross the heaves. The rest of the land trails are showing wear from traffic, but holding up thanks to the ice layer underneath. We will be grooming tomorrow, Saturday, thanks to Cruisers loaning us their Piston Bully again. F trail from Gunlock Road to 47 is a little bumpy, with some wear spots. 17, the main grade from Mattke Rd, to Stearns Lake Rd, has some gravel spots where the sun got at it. Trail 1, Stearns Lake Rd, and East Boundary, is plowed back to the dirt, but there is snow to be found. 17 from Stearns to H is pretty good. Club trail from H down to the Lakes has the truck rut areas between H and 47. Stay in the middle. Raven Lake area is wide open and rideable, but caution is advised if you don’t stay on trail. I saw where sleds tried to run up the banks and found some rocks unearthed from construction. Trail 5 into the Casino needs grooming. 17 north from 5 to Harrisons is pretty good. North to the Powell Marsh is thin, but covered well. Powell Marsh has areas with no snow. 40% chance of snow tomorrow. We are open and rideable, just need to use caution with thin spots and ice. Mark
