❄️❄️Hurley Area Snow Report Tuesday December 31, 2019

The area received approximately 12” of new snow and currently temperatures are 20 degrees with lows in the teens tonight.

The White Thunder Riders were out last night and this morning.

Trail 17 has an area of standing water approximately 5 miles south of Hurley and a temporary reroute has been marked.  There are other areas where riders will encounter water spots, these areas are marked with safety cones and EXTREME CAUTION is urged.

Trail 15 by the Gile Flowage is NOT recommended for riding at this time.  Groomers are currently out on the Trail 15 area and will report any other areas of concern and we will post any updates.

Trail 160 in Michigan is CLOSED.

We would like to remind everyone to STAY on the TRAIL.  Stay OFF the lakes and flowages.  RESPECT our landowners.  If you come upon a groomer WAIT for the groomer driver to come to a complete stop and signal for you to continue.

Everyone think SNOW and COLD!!!  We will provide an update tomorrow.

Ride RIGHT.  Ride SAFE.  STAY together.
