Area Report:
Hello Riders!
Good news to all that have been eagerly awaiting a trail report after having some warm days! Your patience has paid off as we come with good news! The reports from around the county are that trails are good to excellent still! Fortunately because we received such an accumulation last week that snow was a blessing that will bring riding through the rest of the week and weekend!
With that said, there are going to be some areas that are not ideal but certainly passable. These areas include road connectors and trails along the road sides or out in the open in the direct sun light. There will be soft snow and/or bareness in these areas as well as at intersections.
But wooded trails still have a 10-15″ base and the lakes are wonderful! So while mapping out your weekend ride look to the woods and lakes and minimize trails that are on or near the roads. The season isn’t over yet so hop on your sled and get out and ride this weekend!
Surrounding counties are also reporting to be good to excellent.
Thank you to all club members, volunteers and groomers. And thank you to all of you for choosing Sawyer County as your riding destination.
