Trail Conditions: Excellent
Snow Cover: 4-8 inches
Date of Report: January 31, 2017
Area Report:

Great news! We received about 6″ of snow yesterday and it is snowing a bit today. The groomers are out in full force! Reports from groomers around the county have been out since last night and will continue until all is groomed. Around the Chippewa Flowage to the Tuscobia, to Ojibwa and back, the entire Seeley Hills to Bayfield County line, the Nelson Lake area, the Lac Courte Orielles and Grindstone area, all are ready to go today!  It will be a great weekend to ride!

There is one exception to the lakes, Lake Hayward has open water under the bridge along Hwy 77 and near the Market Place entrance, the entrance areas have been roped off so please for your safety, stay off of Lake Hayward.

Trail 36 from Flambeau to Price Co line  is rerouted back to the old trail along Hwy W.

Trail Closures:

Trail 63 north of Seeley from Bodecker Rd to Bayfield Co line is CLOSED

Trail 5/27 from Tuscobia south to Rusk Co line is CLOSED.

Trail 6 from Tuscobia by Ojibwa north to the Chippewa Flowage, also CLOSED.

As always… thank you to the club members and volunteers for their hard work and to you for visiting and enjoying Sawyer County!
