Your Online Trail and Travel Guide for Snowmobiling the U.S. & Canada

Trail Report: Forest County, Wisconsin – December 28, 2016

Trail Conditions: Fair
Snow Cover: 1-3
Date of Report: December 28, 2016
Area Report:

The narrow woods trails are in fair condition with the trails on logging roads in good condition.  Even with the warmer temps and the freezing rain, we actually gained a little over the holidays. Riders reported trails that were groomed after it froze, are good. Trails groomed during the warm weather, froze icy. Definitely worth taking a ride.

Trail conditions will vary throughout the county so please ride safely and responsibly.  Use caution when riding on lakes or frozen water as ice conditions can vary greatly.

The clubs that maintain the Forest County Trail System are made up of volunteers who work very hard to provide the best trails possible.  Please respect them while on the trail and allow them to do their job.  Remember, TRAILS ARE GROOMED DAY AND NIGHT.

Thank you for riding Forest County Trails, Snowmobiling’s best kept secret.
