Trail Report: Forest County, Wisconsin – December 27, 2016

Trail Conditions: Early Season
Snow Cover: 1-3
Date of Report: December 27, 2016
Area Report:

Trails are open but are still in early season riding condition.  After the freezing rain and warm temperatures over the weekend, trails are icy.  Expect to find rough spots until more snow arrives.  Forest County does not promote or mark trails across lakes.  We advise you to stay off any lakes or frozen water as the ice is unsafe.

Trail conditions will vary throughout the county so please ride safely and responsibly.  Use caution when riding on lakes or frozen water as ice conditions can vary greatly.

The clubs that maintain the Forest County Trail System are made up of volunteers who work very hard to provide the best trails possible.  Please respect them while on the trail and allow them to do their job.  Remember, TRAILS ARE GROOMED DAY AND NIGHT.

Thank you for riding Forest County Trails, Snowmobiling’s best kept secret.
