All in all trails are GOOD.
Heavy traffic on the trails for the past almost 2 weeks! Trails are SNOW covered but those in town, heading west toward St. Germain & east, which now is the main way to Three Lakes will need some additional work to get back into shape.
The Lake Effect & real SNOW started mid afternoon yesterday into dark. Some periods of hard sleet with SNOW mix. 6 miles east where I am at there was about 2 inches. Today begins a warm up. Highs in the 30’s during the day until Friday. Very little evil sun. Night temps in the teens & 20’s. Believe the trails will hold because of the hard ice base under the SNOW. Next forecast SNOW is Thursday night through Saturday night. Looks to be 3 inches. After that back to 20’s during the day & teens at night. All according to the weather guys. Let’s see if they are right.
Here’s what GTS Tracking shows was groomed last night. Right Click for large photo

Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. Safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail have been installed.
Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED.
