EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
EARLY SEASON RIDING – Fair

3-4 inches new wet packy SNOW east of Eagle River.  Took some time for it to stick & accumulate as the temps were up.  The SNOW was also mixed with sleet.  Today another 2 inches forecast plus an 1+- of ice.  Temps dropping to the teens & some single digits night for the next week. Mid to high 20’s during the day.

Grooming resumed last night.  Here’s what was groomed starting from the groomer barn located along Hwy 45N near Holiday North:

Trail 10/13 heading north from the groomer barn to the Conover connect
Trail 17N which spurs off of Trail 10/13 to the northeast all the way to Trail 3N
Trail 3N aka Manske Swamp.
Crossing the Wisconsin River Bridge portion of Trail 10/13
Trail 10W/7N to Sayner connect
Trail 13N aka Bauer’s run – the 2 way trail

New SNOW improved the trails a ton.  Riders were out during the SNOW & last night.   With the temps falling starting tomorrow trail should move back up to Good.  There will be icy conditions with the SNOW & Ice mix today.

NOTE – DEERVIEW LANE SECTION OF TRAIL 1N THAT HEADS TO EAGLE LAKE STILL HAS HEAVY TRUCK TRAFFIC.

Eagle & Catfish Lake trails are open & marked.   Take it slow.  Hard ice & surface slush pockets still present, particularly on the turn that takes you off the lake to Townline Rd. Stay by the orange reflective barrels to be safe.

Some reminders when you ride. Have a Map or Phone App. Please no off trail riding & stop at driveways.  Also as you ride you might meet a groomer.   They are big & can’t pull over for us.  So pull over & let the driver direct you.  And oh ya give ’em a thumbs up.  They groom so we can ride!!!

Keep DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!!

See ya on the trails real soon!!
