Early Season Riding with POOR to FAIR conditions

January 2, 2019 7:36am  11 degrees – Cloudy- High of 19 today.

Start the report this morning with a start DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!  Little or no SNOW for a while.  A bit of Lake Effect Snow and a few SNOW showers is all.

That rain last week turned into a saver for the trails.  It got cold after the rain & made a hard frozen base.  With the heavy weekend traffic there are areas with snirt & looking pretty well ridden.  And areas that are still SNOW covered which are mostly in the woods.  That would be heading due north & east being your best bet.

EAGLE LAKE TRAIL & CATFISH LAKE TRAIL ARE MARKED & OPEN. Stay by the reflective orange barrels.  Do not drift away from the barrels as it is not safe to do so  Remember not all lakes have trails so if you don’t see marker do not ride on it to be safe.  These are the only 2 lakes that are marked in Sno-Eagles Country.  So no other are considered safe.

Again sure could use more SNOW so……start or continue DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!

See ya on the trails again real soon!
