January 16, 2020 – 6:30am  1 degree

SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Good

Plenty of new SNOW on tap. 3 inches plus of SNOW yesterday into last night.  More SNOW off & on today.  Friday night into Saturday new SNOW of 4-7 inches forecast.  Stay tuned for totals. Single digits tonight. Friday & Saturday temps will pop up into the 20’s bringing the SNOW.  Then back down to the teens daytime & single digits above & below zero at night.  Plenty of traffic on the trails. After grooming & the new SNOW trails will move to Very Good.  Fantastic riding ahead!!

Today is the Sno-Eagles Thursday Guided Ride.  Meet at 9am at trail 10/13 by the historic railroad depot & brand new snow sculpture snowmobile! Across from Friendship House.

Catfish & Eagle Lake Trails are MARKED & OPEN.  Stay by the Orange Reflective Barrels. Thank you to the business volunteers that marked the trails!  

Groomer Tracking System shows no grooming in the last 24 hours.

Caution Areas

In general found trails sections in swamps have rough areas.  The snowfalls should improve this.

January 16 – General member meeting at VFW of Eagle River – 6-7pm Social hour – 7pm meeting.  All welcome!
January 16-19 – World Championship Snowmobile Derby – Food Booth Volunteers needed
January 25 – SNO(Saturday Night Out) – Kickback Grill – Hwy 45N adjacent to the Hiawatha Inn – 5:30pm Social time & 6:00pm Dinner – ALL Welcome!
