EAGLE RIVER TRAILS
All conditions -Best Riding North & East

Winter continues in Eagle River.  Temps in the 30’s during the day which will drop into the 20’s during the day starting Tuesday. And teens at night.   This should continue through the end of the month.  There a good chance of sleet tomorrow, changing to SNOW on Tuesday. No totals available.  THINK COLD!

Best Riding is still North & East.  The work done in December paid off.   The ice base is still holding on most of the trails.  Still SNOW cover especially North & East. Trail 10/13 heading out of Eagle River is a good ride.   After crossing the Wisconsin River Bridge trail section the 2 trails split.   Trail 13 heading aka the Bauers is a good choice.  Trail 17N that splits off of Trail 10/13 & head north on the east side of Hwy 45N is another choice.  A bit thin in a short section just before the Trail 3N aka Manske Swamp.  What the trails have grainy snow & need fresh new SNOW.  As for east it Trail 10E.  Heading south to split of 10E & Trail Alt 13S.  10E & heading to  Three Lakes OR Alt 13S to Three Lakes. Fresh SNOW needed.  As for west if not bad either.

Grooming

  • South on Trail 10/13 through town & heading south on Trail Alt13 about half down as far as Loon Lake Rd.
  • West grooming to St. Germain connect west & Sugar Camp connect south.
  • Heading north on Trail 10/13 all sections groomed to Conover connect to include Trail 3 aka Manske Swamp & across Wisconsin River Bridge all the way to where Trail 10/13 splits.
  • From intersection Trail13 heads north toward Bauers Dam
  • From intersection Trail10 heads west to Sayner connect.
  • Trail 17N from the intersection off Trail 10/13 heading northeast to Trail 3N aka Manske Swamp.

Eagle & Catfish Lake trails are open & marked & still safe.  Expect very slippery riding & some surface water from melted SNOW.  Always stay by the orange reflective barrels to be safe.

PLEASE STAY ON THE TRAIL.

Keep DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!!  THINK COLD!
