Lots of sledding traffic this weekend! Even with that the trails are in terrific shape!   More SNOW moving in tonight into tomorrow.  1-3 inches forecast. For those of you who have off on Monday will be riding in FRESH NEW SNOW!  If we get this new snow conditions will upgrade to GOOD.  Time to ride!!!

Grooming overnight included trails 17N, 10 & 13 through town, 13/10W, 7S, 13S & 3.

Here are some trail reminders:

  • Trail 1N has a logging operation in the section between the Town of Washington Town Hall & Eagle Lake.  Clearly marked with signs.
  • Wisconsin River Trail – 10W/13N  There are rough spots but it is frozen tight.
  • Same for Manske Swamp – 3N.  Just like Wisconsin River Trail there are rough spots but it is frozen tight.

Catfish Lake Loop & Eagle Lake Trails are now both marked and officially open.  Please stay by the barrels to be safe.  Very hard surface.  No slush.  Reminder the Catfish Lake Loop to Lumpy’s is NO LONGER a trail.

If you are riding zip on over to the “grade” to check out the 2018 Eagle River Area Fire Department ICE CASTLE!!!!  Located adjacent to the downtown “grade” trail by the Historic Railroad Grade.  The lights installed change colors.  Check out this link Eagle River Ice Castle to check out more photos.  Darn pretty!

Last day of the Vintage Derby today at the Derby Track on Hwy 45N. Racing starts again 9:30am.  Check out DerbyTrack.com

Traffic is very high so please stay on the right side to stay safe!  There can be some hard icy in the corners so slow down.  Dress warm it is cold out there!

Keep Dancin’!

See ya on the trails!
