VERY GOOD – EXCELLENT

All in all trails are in great shape everywhere.  Higher traffic on trail 10E.  Riders coming from the East from Three Lakes, Phelps & even Forest county.  Lots heading out to those areas from town.  Also found traffic on 10W/13N heading north to the Buckatabon/Bauer’s area & 10W/7 after crossing the Wisconsin River bridge.  And yes slush pockets in the bridge area with a bit of water on top of the icy on the approaches.  So SLOW DOWN there as it is slippery. Quieter on 3N, 17N, 70W/17S.  Haven’t ridden those sections in a while.  Will tomorrow.

Clipper of SNOW yesterday afternoon.  2-3 inches 6 miles east of Eagle River.  Roller coaster of temps. Today high of 20 with low of 0.  Tomorrow 30 with low of 2 below. Friday high 47 with low of 20.  Saturday back down to 22 for a high & low of 1. Sunday high 17 & low of 5 below.  SNOW flurries in the morning tomorrow.  Then no SNOW fall ’til mid next week.

Here is a GTS – Groomer Tracking screen shot of grooming overnight into this morning

Green means groomed last night into this morning.  Blue means groomed 48 hours ago. Gold mean groomed 72 hours ago.  Black/grey longer than 72 hours ago.

Daily Reminders:
Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed.  The Club is working on a reroute.

Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. There are 3 color safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail.  There are mogul drifts along the barrels so recommend slowing down. Lots of SNOW mist so leave space between you & rider in front.

Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED. Uncertain it will open as there are no businesses open on the  lake this winter.  If you have not ridden the lake in the past DO NOT ATTEMPT at night. There are spots that can be thin or even open water. NO safety lights
