TRAILS FAIR ON AVERAGE
5 degrees at 7:00am with a high of 23. Cold again tonight in the single digits. No SNOW overnight. Evil sun will be making an appearance today. Today is Wednesday which means the Sno-Eagles Guided Trail Rides with Ron. Meet at 9am at the Historic Railroad Depot on the “grade” in town across from Friendship House.
Short report this morning. While trails are on average FAIR. In town, trails that run along side roads on the north side & wide open areas are POOR. Riding on Monday best riding was the 13N Trails heading way north, Trail 7, 3S-the “grade” heading out of town were GOOD & SNOW covered. With the sun today that might not hold.
Groomers were out last night grooming. Did see them heading out going north on 13N/10W. Will update around lunch time if there is more information.
Trail 1N logging operation continues in the section between the Town of Washington Town Hall & Eagle Lake. With the log piles and icy grainy conditions in that section it would be good to slow down. Minimal grooming due to the logging operation.
Catfish Lake Loop & Eagle Lake Trails are marked with orange easy to see reflective barrels. Please stay by the barrels to be safe. No surface slush. Reminder that the Catfish Lake Trail that ran from Braywood to Lumpy’s is not open. Please do not trespass on private land.
Do the Dance! Want to hear you all the way up here!
See ya on the trails!
