New SNOW

4+- inches of SNOW late yesterday into this morning.  Still light SNOW at 6:45am that should end in a few minutes.  SNOW is fluffier then I would have liked.  Was hoping for some wet packy SNOW.  But hey will take it. Temps will drop tonight.  From today through next Wednesday night daytime highs in mid teens or lower.  Below zero over night.

GTS Groomer app shows the following trails groomed last night ALL of Trail 10E was to the Three Lakes/Alvin/Nelma Trails. Which includes through Eagle River & down the Grade to the turn to head East.  Here are the spurs included:

  • Trail 1N that head to Chanticleer Inn & Eagle Lake
  • Grampa Grahm/1S that heads to Eagle Waters Resort
  • 9 Mile that heads to Three Lakes connecting to TL5

NOTE: Trail 10E out of Eagle River becomes a one way from the ERRA SPORTS ARENA all the way to Mikes Gas Station.  It runs alone Hwy 70E.  The south side of the trail is ONE WAY going EAST only.  The north side of the trail is ONE WAY going WEST (back to Eagle River). Intersections are clearly marked with ONE WAY trail signs & DO NOT ENTER signs.  Very dangerous to go the wrong way.

Catfish Lake & Eagle Lake Trails are marked with orange reflective barrels.  Stay by the barrels as there is no guarantee the rest of the lakes are safe. They have icy spots so please slow down.  Lots of lakes have ice heaves so be safe & stay by the barrels wherever you ride.

Trails will be SNOW cover this morning with hard icy base.  It is going to be slippery not only in the corners but everywhere.  Please Slow Down & Stay on Your Side.

Time to Ride!!!! See ya on the trails!
