SNO-EAGLES TRAILS OPEN!
Trails Good to Very Good

February 10 2019 6:41am – 5 – High 15

Plenty of SNOW in Eagle River!  So lots of traffic & many large groups.  Groomers out again last night.  All but 70W, 7S aka Paintballfield, 13S to Sugar Camp connect & the Uncle Kent’s trail were groomed.

Everything is SNOW covered.  Some chop & a few areas with bumps.  Heavy traffic.  Not as much snirt at the road crossings.  Snowbanks are really high at road & driveway crossings.  Noticed riders not either stopping or slowing up at driveway crossing.  Dangerous. With the deep SNOW not as much slip from the hard ice base.  Few blown out corners.  Otherwise, pretty darn good!

Heading into some great riding temps.  15 for a high today.  Monday 24. Tuesday 20 & SNOW. Wednesday 23.  Thursday 24 & SNOW.  Not much in the line of the evil sun either.

As for the SNOW.  Could be some SNOW today & tomorrow.  Low totals.  Best SNOW Tuesday with 5-8 forecast!  At this point Thursday SNOW low totals.  Stay tuned!

EAGLE LAKE TRAIL & CATFISH LAKE TRAIL ARE MARKED & OPEN. Stay by the reflective orange barrels.

Been mentioning this all season:

Sno-Eagles Country has 2 areas that have one-way trails.  10E is a one-way trail from the ERRA Sports Arena all the way out to Nicolet Mini Mart.  The other is the 13’s up near Buckatabon Bridge & Bauer’s Dam area.  Clearly marked with DO NOT ENTER signs.  Plus trail signs are backwards if you are going the wrong way.

Last day of the LaBatt Blue/USA Hockey Pond Hockey Tournament on Dollar Lake  You can ride by sled.  From town take “the grade” Trail 3/13Alt to 10E to Trail 1.  Follow the signs.  Or stop at the ERRA Sports Arena & take the shuttle.

Thanks for THINKING SNOW!!!  Are you riding?  If not why?
See ya on the trails!
