Deep SNOW on all the trails from the 2 snow storms. The next SNOW is forecast for tomorrow, Thursday. About 1 inch in the forecast. Temps will steadily drop through the week. Single digits during the day & below zero at night moving in early next week. Looks like the SNOW isn’t going anywhere.
SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER & ALL OF VILAS COUNTY ARE NOT OPEN. Groomers out panning the trails. Reports of wet mushy areas in swamps & low areas. If this snow hold the trails are going to be fantabulous when they open.
Here is a Press Release from Parks & Rec Administrator Dale Mayo regarding the entire Vilas County snowmobile trails & opening
Be Patient. Won’t be long now! See ya on the trails sometime in mid-December.
