SNOWMOBILE TRAILS IN EAGLE RIVER
Fair

This morning the SNOW has started. Turning from misty rain to SNOW are 6am this morning.  With the temps at 32 the SNOW on the ground at 7:15am is about 1/2-3/4 inches.  Temps are dropping so totals will increase quickly.  Set to SNOW all day into early AM tomorrow.  The heaviest should move in around lunchtime thru 6-7pm tonight. Seeing several different totals so hold off on reporting. Check back tomorrow for totals or call the Trail Hotline at 715.479.5185.

No grooming overnight.

Update – Trl 17N closed from Trl 1 intersection to Columbus Rd.
Heading south detoured to Hwy 17. Cross Hwy & take Trl 1 back to Eagle River

The following areas are for experienced riders as they have rough & icy areas due to last Falls high waters:

*Wisconsin River Trail aka 10W/13N – frozen but shiny slippery ice – approaches not groomed
*Manske Swamp aka Trail3N – no recent grooming
*Loon Lk & Bloom Rds section of 10E(use City/Trig’s Trl to Bloom Rd) – not groomed
*Trail 17S from Trail 7 aka Paintball Field heading south to the Sugar Camp trails – not groomed

Catfish & Eagle Lake Trails are NOT MARKED. With the rain yesterday there probably is also surface slush.  So I’d wait before crossing.

Very important!  THINK COLD & start DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!

See you on this trails real soon!
