VILAS COUNTY SNOWMOBILE TRAILS TO INCLUDE SNO-EAGLES TRAILS REMAIN CLOSED
December 26, 2018 8:42am – 18 degrees
Trails in Sno-Eagles Country & ALL of VILAS COUNTY REMAIN CLOSED. Just not enough snow on the trails to open.
The Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance met December 19th in Lac du Flambeau. The vote on trail opening was for the trails to remain closed.
Forecast for the next few days from Weather Underground
- Wednesday – High 29 – Low 23 – SNOW late 1-3 inches
- Thursday – High 35 – Low 25 – AM SNOW potentially turning into sleet & back to SNOW – 1-3 inches with another 1 Thursday night
- Friday – High 29 – Low 6 – SNOW SHOWERS – Less than an inch.
Everything hangs on tomorrow, Thursday. If the drop just a bit lower it could be all SNOW. But at this point doesn’t look like it. So…..THINK COLD & keep DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE!!!!
