Your Online Trail and Travel Guide for Snowmobiling the U.S. & Canada

Trail Report – : Conover, Wisconsin – January 2, 2026

Reporter:snobuddies
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 13”
Date of Report: January 2, 2026
Area Report:

Went out grooming last night, trails were holding up well for the amount of traffic that is out there. With the cold temps last night and today, they should hold up to more beating. Sure is nice to have snow to work with. The only reason I refrain from marking our trails excellent condition is the low hanging branches across our area. Sled will be able to pass them, but the groomers are hitting some of them. There may be broken branches laying on the trail. If you come across one and are able to remove it from the trail it is much appreciated.

There will be a crew going out again tonight and I would think all the trails will be hit this Friday evening.

There is a large ice heave on North Twin Lake between Conover and Phelps. Use caution and slow down when crossing the lake.
