Area Report:

Trails is Bayfield County are holding up really well and are in excellent condition. The weekend forecast is a bit warm but the nighttime temperatures will still be below freezing and we have a lot of snow, so the trails  should hold up just fine. Have fun and stay safe!

Barnes Barnestormers: All the Barnes trails are in tip top condition. We are working on the second grooming for the week. Trail 31 south to the Sawyer County line is seeing a lot of use and will be groomed a second time tomorrow as will the town trails. 31 North and Moore Road 17 will be done again on Friday.

Drummond SnoJacks: All Drummond trails are in excellent condition and will be groomed again before the weekend. Daily light to moderate snowfalls have added to the 16″+ base. No problem areas reported.

Frosty’s Vintage Riders (Mason, Delta, Iron River): All trails are groomed and still in excellent shape. West and North Delta Roads are a bit icy. We have an unconfirmed report of Trail 4 east of the Delta Diner on DNR land being temporarily closed today for logging operations.

Washburn Valhallers: Trail #13 North from Washburn to Valhalla is groomed and in excellent condition.  This will also be redone before the weekend.

Trail #13 South from Washburn to the Tri-County Corridor is also in excellent condition and will be groomed for the weekend.

All trails in the Valhalla area are in excellent condition. Trail one is very brushy from Mountain Road to Trail 31, use caution. Our groomer will be out on Trail 1 on Saturday doing trail maintenance so keep an eye out for it and feel free to give the driver a hand.

South Shore (Port Wing, Herbster, Cornucopia): Everything is groomed. Trails 1, 40 and 41 are in excellent shape.
