A little bit of new snow this week and more in the forecast for tonight into tomorrow. The whole county is forecast to get some new snow which is much welcomed news. Our groomers have been doing great with the snow they have and there is definitely some beautiful trail out there. Just a reminder to all to please respect private landowners and stay on the trail. Stay on the trail or stay home!

Some trouble spots to note:

  • The Wally Polk Trail/Trail 40 near Port Wing and Herbster is closed. Flag road is a suitable re-route.

Namakagon Trail Groomers: We received 1-1/2” (+-) of new snow today 2/9. 3-4” base. All trails will be groomed Thursday 2/10. Fair to good conditions.

Barnes Barnestormers: Barnes trails are still looking good. Not much new snow but holding on to what we have. Everything will be groomed by the weekend and ready to ride.

Washburn Valhallers: Washburn and Valhalla area trails have been groomed all week and will be in great shape for the weekend.

South Shore– Port Wing, Herbster & Cornucopia: All south shore trails will be groomed by Thursday, with some fresh snow by the lake those trails continue to improve from good to very good!!
