Area Report:
Iron Snow Shoe Snowmobile Trails are CLOSED. Sorry….No snow right now. The rain washed it all away. Good News…It is supposed to get colder this week. Pray for snow.
All of the snowmobile trail is bushed and signed and ready for more snow. The trail maintenance in the Homestead Lake Trail area off of County Road I is all complete and turned out great. It was completely reshaped, large rocks removed, new gravel and graded.
There is a small trail change from Sportman’s Cafe to Boat Landing 3 Road.
We will keep you up dates on the trail by Jungle Jim’s.

The Good News is we still have a good base and colder weather is on the way. Many lakes have solid ice and are being marked with barrels. The bad news is we lost most of our snow and we need more to head our way so we can FINALLY open the Frosty Club Trails!
THINK SNOW!!!!

Well, that warm up and rain didn’t help our trails. The cold will return this week and is supposed to be here for awhile. Watching for snow storms to come in and the lake effect snow machine to turn on. Stay tuned.
We need everyone to put their snowblowers and shovels away, and get your boats out. That should bring the snow!

Snowmobile Information:
It is 6:25 Saturday, 36 degrees and cloudy. Dense fog advisories posted for tomorrow morning. Not a lot to report except water and mushy. Our only consolation is that Hornshoe club had a flat spot to rebuild the front differential on the John Deere groomer. The starboard track is on, and we should wrap up the other track tomorrow and hopefully get back on line and be ready or the next cold front.Tomorrow and Monday will be in the upper 30’s, then 26 Tuesday, and mid teens headed to single digit lows later in the week. That should firm up the mush, and then look for some snowmakers. Mark
