February roller coaster of temps has started.  Highs – 31 today. 18 tomorrow. 27 Sunday.  Lows – 2 tonight. 5 tomorrow. 10 Sunday. Mostly cloudy.  Good we have a 6 inch hard frozen base.  As for SNOW.  Last night a schiff. Schiff Saturday night.  Lake Superior is almost frozen over so you know what that means……SNOW DANCE time!  Only areas that could get Lake Effect would be east of Vilas.  Forest, Florence counties in WI. Marquette area in UP.

All in all trails heading west were Good to Very Good. Soft at road crossing.  Very little if any snirt. 10E into town & Grade into town fine.  70W heading out of town has some set bumps from Lincoln Town Hall to Oak Lane.  A few more between Oak Lane & where trail comes out by Kerber Rose.  Swampy frozen so not much the groomers can do to keep smooth.  After Good to Very Good.

Last night grooming around midnight!!

Daily Reminders:

Reminder that Trail 13S does not run all the way to Three Lakes as a portion was closed.  The Club is working on a reroute.

Eagle Lake was marked by businesses. There are 3 color safety lights at entrance & exit from/to the lake trail

Catfish Lake is NOT MARKED. Uncertain it will open as there are no businesses open on the        lake this winter.  If you have not ridden the lake in the past DO NOT ATTEMPT at night. There are spots that can be thin or even open water. NO safety lights

Club work today.
See ya on the trails Saturday!!
