Trail Report – : Boulder Junction, Wisconsin – January 29, 2026

Reporter:boulderwi
Trail Conditions: Good
Snow Cover: 12-14"
Date of Report: January 29, 2026
Area Report:

At 8:00 AM it’s -1 degrees out with sunny skies and warming up to 10 degrees today followed
by a warmup into the low twenties by the weekend.
We last groomed 15N/6E Tuesday night, 2W/8W/51 Wednesday evening and 8E/15S/11 early
this morning. Generally, the trails are in very good shape being flat with plenty of snow base.
We do have a few problem spots that have developed moguls due to the heavy traffic. One is
the combined 2W/8W trail from town out to the 8W/2W intersection which has been double
groomed to keep smooth. The other is a small section of 15S south of Nebish Road which has
some depressions along the way in which we are working on daily to smooth out. Once you get
south of the 15S/11 Sayner intersection, the trail is great down to County N.
Please ride safe while on our area trails and stop in and patronize our local businesses.
Look for an updated trail report on Monday, 2/2.
