Snowmobile Report – December 25, 2025

Ashland County Snowmobile trails will partially open on Thursday, 12/25/25.Trails are panned but not groomed.
OPEN :
Trail #13-Highbridge south to Price County line.
Trail #11-Iron County line to Trail #13/77 intersection.
Trail #77-Clam Lake
Trail #9/25-Clam Lake north to God’s Country intersection which meets with Trail #90 to Bayfield County.

Trail #13a-to intersection of Trail #11
Trail #12-Butternut to Iron County
ALL ASHLAND COUNTY SNOWMOBILE TRAILS NORTH OF HIGHBRIDGE ARE CLOSED due to low snow depth.
Please remember this is early season riding. Trails are still in need of additional brushing, and swamps and creeks are not all frozen. please ride right, ride sober and ride with caution.

Reminder everyone that the Ashland Waterfront Trail is not open to motorized vehicles, including snowmobiles and ATVs. Anyone caught riding on the Ashland Waterfront Trail will be ticketed.

When snowmobiling please stay on the trail.  A lot of Ashland County snowmobile trails are on farmers land, be respectful so we don’t lose our easement to their property. Snowmobiles may not be modified, or operated, to amplify or otherwise increase the total vehicle noise above the originally manufactured snowmobile noise level.  Ashland County Recreation Enforcement.
