EAGLE RIVER TRAILS

Trails are OPEN
Late Season Riding
Fair – Good

Cold as I write this morning!  Right now the SNOW is hard & frozen, making it very icy & slippery.  That will change very quickly as the temps will pop up to the 20’s by 10am.   May be some SNOW between 10am & noon.  Going to be overcast so even with the temps coming up trails will hold but will get soft.  Starting tomorrow temps coming way up so Ride Now!

GTS groomer tracker shows that Sno-Eagles groomed trails heading north last night:

  • Trail 10W/13N all the from the Groomer Barn to the connect with Conover Sno-Buddie trails.
  • Trail 10W/13N aka Wisconsin River Bridge section all the way to the intersection on the west side
  • Trail 10W to St. Germain BoBoen & Sayner Barnstormers connect
  • Trail 13N all the way up to connect with Conover Sno-Buddies trails
  • Trail 17N all the way to Trail 1
  • Trail 1 to the Eagle Lake Trail –
  • Trail 3N all the way to reconnect with 10W/13N

NOTE: Trail 10E heading to Phelps & Three Lakes is not open starting from the Sno-Eagles connect with Three Lakes.  See photo at the right.

If you ride east take the 9 mile Trail which heads south off 10E.  It’s a US Forest Rd #2437.  It connects with 9 mile road to TL5 & will take you to Three Lakes.

Catfish & Eagle had surface slush yesterday.  Stay by the barrels where it’s stays frozen longer.  If you encounter slush just steady as you go.  Don’t accelerate or slow down.  Could get stuck.

Thanks to the Sno-Eagles drivers & the other 10 clubs for working double time to get trails open in Vilas County.  Another thank you to the Oneida County clubs that were able to open as well.

Ride it while we got it!  See ya on the Trails!!!
