VILAS COUNTY SNOWMOBILE TRAILS TO INCLUDE SNO-EAGLES TRAILS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED
December 8, 2018 5:44pm – 17 degrees
Sno-Eagles Trails have been inspected by the County Parks & Rec Dept. & are ready to go. 9 Clubs down 2 more to go. One on Monday the 10th & the other on Tuesday the 11th. Then all 11 clubs of the Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance will meet to determine an opening date.
Until then the groomers in Sno-Eagles Country have been out panning the trails. From the looks of it most every trail has been panned. We could use more SNOW but the good news is that the swamps & wet mushy areas have frozen up.
Evil sun today. Going to be partly cloudy with SNOW in the forecast for Wednesday.
It’s a waiting game at this point. Keep DOIN’ THE SNOW DANCE & THINKING COLD!
See ya out on the trails real soon!
