ALL SNOWMOBILE TRAILS ARE OPEN
GOOD EARLY RIDING CONDITION & GROOMED
Trails are in terrific shape! The new SNOW Thursday sure has improved conditions. In town lots of traffic to stay right to stay safe. Chilly one this morning, 13 BELOW at almost 8am. High of 5 & then right back into the deep freeze overnight. More SNOW coming tomorrow afternoon with 1-3 forecast and a little more on Monday morning! Time to ride!!!
Grooming overnight included trails 70W, 7/Kathan Inn, 17N, 7S, 10/13N in town.
Here are some trail reminders:
- Trail 1N has a logging operation in the section between the Town of Washington Town Hall & Eagle Lake. Clearly marked with signs.
- Wisconsin River Trail – 10W/13N is now being groomed off & on it is icy and rough in spots.
- Same for Manske Swamp – 3N. Both were groomed last night.
Catfish Lake Loop & Eagle Lake Trails are now both marked and officially open. Please stay by the barrels to be safe. Reminder the Catfish Lake Loop to Lumpy’s is NO LONGER a trail.
If you are riding zip on over to the “grade” to check out the 2018 Eagle River Area Fire Department ICE CASTLE!!!! Located adjacent to the downtown “grade” trail by the Historic Railroad Grade. It’s the start of the Vintage Derby today at the Derby Track on Hwy 45N. Racing starts again 9:30am. Check out DerbyTrack.com
